WORLD AIDS DAY

TO THE MILLIONS WITH HIV/AIDS, MY COMPASSION AND PRAYERS

Today is world AIDS day..HIV/AIDS continues to decimate Sub-Saharan Africa, and there is real fear of a whole generation getting wiped out.

The Social, economic, and political costs of the scourge is devastating. HIV has killed more Africans than all the wars, colonialism and slavery combined

Our active generation and children are dying....our governments continue to dither and dillydally....every day we lose 700 in Kenya alone from AIDS...Sub saharan Africa has 28.9 million people living withHIV. We are losing 2.7 million people every year from HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa alone

Please, show compassion for the victims of AIDS....take care of the children orphaned by AIDS

I will leave you with the words of Nkosi Johnson(pictured), a courgaeous 10 year old AIDS actvist from South Africa...we lost him, but lets preserve his legacy...

'We are normal. We have hands. We have feet. We can walk, we can talk, we have needs just like everyone else- don't be afraid of us- we are all the same!" Nkosi Johnson
